We must invest more in ALL public schools, so we can improve education
for ALL Nevada students, not take money away to benefit a few.
ESA vouchers take money away from public schools and put it into the hands of wealthy people who send their kids to private school. This means less money to educate every other Nevada student—especially those in middle‑class and lower‑income families.
Vouchers only weaken our public schools, and even with vouchers, most parents still wouldn’t have the money to pay for private schools. We simply can’t afford to fund two different education systems—one private and one public—on the taxpayer’s dime.
We need to ensure that taxpayer dollars are invested in public schools—not shifted into vouchers for religious and other private schools—so that every child in every community has the opportunity for a great education at a neighborhood public school.
